It’s a mountain trip in the colors of autumn. It’s located in Ibi, a town 90 km away. It’s a part of a mountain range that includes Menejador, the sixth highest mountain in Alicante at 1,356 meters. The town is located 755 meters above sea level, so it’s not that difficult to climb. The trail is very wide, and 15 km long. Ibi used to be famous for toys production, and there’s even a museum there now. The trail’s first step is a ravine with windmills, or rather ruins of them. The first of the windmills is close to a lavadero, an ancient place for washing clothes. Other than the windmills, we can see ancient sewage system, at some points hand carved in rocks. Ice wells are deep, circular things which resemble wells that used to be used for storing snow and producing ice.
